Getting Started

CMS-1000 Media Server

The CMS-1000 Media Server is always configured with two AC or DC power supplies that work
in tandem to provide N+1 redundancy. The supplies are internal to the unit and may not be hot
swapped.
Thermal Dissipation
The thermal dissipation for the CMS-1000 Media Server is less than 342 BTU per hour.
Input Requirements for AC System
The system has redundant AC inputs which must be connected to a grounded mains outlet or
UPS.
Input Voltage Range
100 to 240 VAC
Input Requirements for DC System
The system has redundant DC inputs. The return lines from the supplies are routed
independently to the power input terminal block.
Grounding Requirements
The CMS-1000 (DC power only) has a a grounding stud on the power input panel to tie into the
facility and Rack ground systems.
