3. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit, Port.
4. Click the PoE tab.

Configuration — Power over Ethernet
The color of the letter P in the center of each PoE port indicates the port PoE
detection status.
P color
Green
Orange
Red
The Port dialog box appears.
The PoE dialog box appears.
Description
Indicates that PoE is available and the device connected
to the Ethernet Routing Switch 8300 is drawing power.
Indicates that PoE is available and the device connected
to the Ethernet Routing Switch 8300 is not drawing
power.
Indicates all other PoE states. For example,
management disabled, or no power available to
allocate.
