Method 2: Measuring a Known Channel in the System
Preparing the Software
Do This
1 Start the application program by going to the Start menu.
Select Programs, Agilent E74xx.
2 Create a new project called:
Verification Test 2 (Using the Antenna).
3 Click Configuration and then add the receiver hardware. Refer to
4 Click Collection and select the Spectrum VFP (Virtual
Front Panel)
5 Click Maximize button in the upper-right corner of the
main window.
6 Select either Frequency or Channel in the Frequency
Units.
7 Set the measurement software as follows:
Band: Downlink
Frequency: User specified
Span: 2 MHz or 1 MHz depending on the channel used
Averaging: Running
Averages: 32

Additional Information
The software starts.
It is recommended that you use the
automatic configuration wizard for this
process. Refer to
Chapter 2, "Automatic
Configuration".

Installation Tips"
The display size increases to fill the
available space.
Frequency is displayed on the Spectrum
VFP.
The frequency you specify and enter in
the Center field, should be known
communication frequency or channel.
