Connecting signal cables

If you have not already done so, connect the signal cable
from the drive to the correct connection on the system
board. Verify your connections using the information in
"Identifying signal cable connectors" on page 87.
If you had to disconnect any cables to gain access to a
section of the system board, reconnect the cables.

Removing drives

To remove a drive from a specific bay, reverse the steps
for installing a drive in that bay. To remove a drive from
bay 3 or bay 4, you must first remove the drives in bay 1
and bay 2. When you remove a drive from bay 2, you
might need to remove the adapter cards from the riser
card first.
