Define current and speed limits for the motor, and the

The setting in parameter 4-10 Motor
Speed Direction has impact on
parameter 1-73 Flying Start.
Only operation in clockwise direction is
allowed.
Operation in both clockwise and counter-
clockwise directions are allowed.
Function:
Enter the minimum limit for motor speed. The
motor speed low limit can be set to
correspond to the minimum output frequency
of the motor shaft. The speed low limit must
not exceed the setting in
parameter 4-14 Motor Speed High Limit [Hz].
Function:
Enter the maximum limit for motor speed.
It can be set to match the recommended
maximum motor speed. The motor speed
high limit must exceed the value in
parameter 4-12 Motor Speed Low Limit [Hz].
Motor speed high limit cannot be set
higher than parameter 4-19 Max Output
Frequency.
Function:
Enter the current limit for motor and generator
operation (in % of rated motor current). If the
value is higher than maximum rated output from
frequency converter, current is still limited to the
maximum output current of the frequency
converter. If a setting in parameter 1-00 Configu-
ration Mode to parameter 1-25 Motor Nominal
Speed is changed, parameter 4-18 Current Limit is
not automatically reset to the default setting.

Enter the maximum output frequency, which

safety in applications where unintended
overspeeding must be avoided. This absolute
limit applies to all configurations and is
independent of the setting in
parameter 1-00 Configuration Mode.
When parameter 1-10 Motor Construction is set
to one of the options enabling PM motor
construction, the maximum limit of
parameter 4-19 Max Output Frequency might
be limited by the setting of
parameter 1-40 Back EMF at 1000 RPM due to
avoid a too high Back EMF which can damage
the frequency converter. If parameter 4-19 Max
Output Frequency is set lower than
parameter 4-14 Motor Speed High Limit [Hz], the
value of parameter 4-14 Motor Speed High Limit
[Hz] is adjusted to the same value of
parameter 4-19 Max Output Frequency automat-
ically.
