is a risk of an accident.
You should therefore always look over your
shoulder to determine the actual distance
from road users driving behind you.
Adjusting the exterior mirrors electri-
cally

Turn the key to position 2 in the ignition lock

Turn control : to position 1 for the left-
hand mirror or position 3 for the right-hand
mirror.

Press the top, bottom, left or right section of
control : until the exterior mirror is in the
correct position.
You should have a good view of traffic condi-
tions.

Turn the control to position 2.
In this position, the setting of the exterior mir-
ror is fixed and can no longer be changed.
Adjusting the exterior mirrors manually
With electrically heated and adjustable exterior
mirrors: when the engine is running and the rear
window heating is switched on, the exterior mir-
rors are heated.

Move lever : until the exterior mirror is in the
correct position.
You should have a good view of traffic condi-
tions.
Folding the exterior mirrors in or out
electrically

Turn the key to position 2 in the ignition lock

To fold in: turn the control to position 3.
Both exterior mirrors fold in.

To fold out: turn the control to position 1 or
2.
Both exterior mirrors fold out.

Make sure that the exterior mirrors are
always folded out fully while driving. They
could otherwise vibrate.
