The left-hand and right-hand rear seat backrests
can be folded forwards separately to increase
the luggage compartment capacity.
Crewbus: if the rear bench seat is occupied, do
not fold down the co-driver's seat or the co-driv-
er's seat backrest.
When the rear bench seat and the rear bench
seat with partition grille are folded down, they
can bear a maximum load of 300 kg.
Observe the loading guidelines (

Move the driver's or co-driver's seat forward if
necessary.

Make sure that the rear seat belts are not
engaged in the buckles.

Fully insert the rear seat backrest head
restraints.

Pull right-hand or left-hand rear seat backrest
release handle :.
The corresponding rear seat backrest is
released.

Fold the rear seat backrest forwards.
X
Move the driver's or co-driver's seat back if
necessary.

Both sides of the rear bench seat have a release
handle to fold the backrest forward.

Move the driver's or co-driver's seat forward if
necessary.

Make sure that the rear seat belts are not

rear bench seat in the direction of the arrow.
The corresponding rear seat backrest is
released.

Fold the rear seat backrest forwards.

Move the driver's or co-driver's seat back if
necessary.
Folding back the seat backrests

If the rear bench seat/rear seat and seat
backrest are not engaged they could fold for-
wards, e.g. when braking suddenly or in the
event of an accident.
The vehicle occupant would thereby be

pushed into the seat belt by the rear bench
seat/rear seat or by the seat backrest. The
seat belt cannot protect as intended and
could result in additional injury.
Objects or loads in the boot/luggage com-
R
partment cannot be restrained by the seat
backrest.
This poses an increased risk of injury.
Before every trip, make sure that the seat
backrests and the rear bench seat/rear seat
are engaged before every trip.
