on the luggage compartment floor.
Stowage options

Tilt seat = forwards.
Hook ? of seat = engages into rear retainer
A and front retainer B on the luggage com-
partment floor.

Make sure that hook ? has fully engaged in
rear retainer A and front retainer B.

Tip seat = back.
X
Ensure that pins C of seat = are properly
engaged in anchorages D.

Securing loads

Lashing eyelets

Observe the following notes on securing loads:
Observe the loading guidelines (

Secure the load using the lashing eyelets.

Distribute the load on the lashing eyelets
R
evenly.
Do not use elastic straps or nets to secure a

load, as these are only intended as an anti-slip
protection for light loads.
Do not route lashing materials across sharp
R
edges or corners.
Pad sharp edges for protection.
R
Do not use the lashing eyelets in the load com-
partment if they are already being used to fasten
two of the following three components:
safety net
R
load in the load compartment
R
child seat
R
