Insert bolts : through both openings on the
right and left of ball coupling ;.

To raise: screw ball coupling ; tight at the
height of position 1 of bracket = using
bolts :.

To lower: screw ball coupling ; tight at the
height of position 2 of bracket = using
bolts :.
X
Tighten bolts :.
The tightening torque must be 173 Nm.

Trailers with a 7-pin connector
General notes
Trailer with 7-pin connector: you can connect
it to the 13-pin socket on the ball coupling using
an adapter or an adapter cable if necessary.
Both can be obtained in a qualified specialist
workshop.
Fitting the adapter

Open the socket cover.
X
Insert the plug with lug : fitting into groove
= in the socket. Turn bayonet connection ;
clockwise as far as it will go.

Close the cover so that it engages.
X
If you are using an adapter cable, use cable
ties to secure the cable to the trailer.
! Make sure that there is sufficient cable play
so that the cable cannot become detached
when cornering.
