Chanlinl the heim joint
- Tighten the spring by turning the adjusting ring to the measured value deter-
mined when it was removed.

Hook wrench (Tl06S) (or p. 262)
- Tighten screw •.

Nm (3.7 Ibf ft)
- Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (or p. 10)
- Remove screw. and lower the rear wheel with the swingarm as far as possible
without blocking the rear wheel. Fix the rear wheel in this position.

Raise the wheel slightly to make it easier to remove the screw.
- Swing back the shock absorber.
- Remove spacers. on both sides.
- Remove shaft seal rings. on both sides.
- Mount special

Mounting tool, heim joint (50329000044)

p. 254)
- Press out the heim joint by screwing in the screw.
