- Pull off the air filter box lid in area. to the side and remove to the front.
- Insert the air filter box lid into the rear area. and clip it into the front area

Enline failure
Unfiltered intake air has a negative effect on the service life of the engine.
- Never ride the vehicle without an air filter since dust and dirt can get into the engine and result in increased wear.
Warning
Environmental hazard
Hazardous substances cause environmental damage.
- Oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaners, brake fluid, etc., should be disposed of as stipulated in applicable regulations.
- Remove the air filter box lid. (-- p. 64)
- Detach air filter holder. at the bottom and swing it to one side. Remove the air
filter with the air filter support.
- Remove the air filter from the air filter support.
Installina the air !ilter
- Mount the clean air filter onto the air filter support.
- Apply grease to the section. of the air filter.
