Selecting the position display

Application
You can influence the display of the coordinates for the Manual
operation mode as well as for the Program run, full sequence
and Program run, single block operating modes.
The figure on the right shows the different tool positions:
Initial position
Target position of the tool
Workpiece datum
Machine datum
You can select the following coordinates for the control's position
displays:
Display
NOML
ACTL
REF ACTL
REF NOML
LAG
ACTDST

Function
Nominal position: The value currently commanded by the control
The NOML and ACTL displays differ solely with regard to following error.
Actual position; current tool position
Refer to your machine manual.
Your machine tool builder defines whether the ACTL and NOML display
deviates from the programmed position by the DL oversize of the tool call.
Reference position; actual position relative to the machine datum
Reference position; nominal position relative to the machine datum
Servo lag; difference between nominal and actual positions
Distance remaining to the programmed position in the input coordinate system; differ-
ence between actual and target positions
Examples with Cycle 11:
Scaling factor 0.2
L IX+10
The ACTDST display shows 10 mm.
The scaling factor does not have any influence.
Example with Cycle 11 and tilled working plane:
Tilt A by 45°
Scaling factor 0.2
L IX+10
The ACTDST display shows 10 mm.
The scaling factor and the tilt do not have any influence.
