Setting the 802.1X login data

The 802.1X login data of your telephone will be verified for its authentication in the IP network.
You may change the 802.1X ID and the associated password.
Press the "Menu" function key..
Scroll to the Settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the IP settings menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Security menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the 802.1X ID menu item.
Confirm your selection.
Scroll to the Pw.repeat menu item. If necessary, change the ID.
Scroll to the Password old menu item.
... Enter the current PIN.
Scroll to the New Password menu item.
... Enter the new PIN.
Scroll to the Rep. pwd. menu item.
... Enter the new PIN once again.
Confirm the entries.
• Your system administrator will provide you with your password.
• If you wish to save changes to the 802.1X login data you must also change the password
at the same time. The new password may, however, be identical with the old one.
