Function keys
Gatekeeper list*
You can select a different gatekeeper other than the default gatekeeper from the list.
Handsfree / monitoring
The Monitoring function (you can hear your call partner over the loudspeaker) and Handsfree
function (your call partner is heard over the loudspeaker and you can speak to him using the
built-in microphone) can be operated using the "Monitoring/Handsfree" function key.
Hunt group*
You can leave and join the hunt group. This function must be enabled by your system admini-
strator.
Local phone book
You can save entries in the local phone book and then call them up and dial them later.
Lock
You can protect your telephone against unauthorised use.
Log in new user
These functions can be assigned a function key in order to speed up log in / out. If a user is log-
ged in, then the key has the function: Log out user. If no user is logged in, then the key has the
function: Log in new user
Mute
Press the "Mute" key if you do not want your opposite party to hear what is being said at your
end. Press this key again so the caller can hear you again.
Pick-up call
You can use this to pick up calls from another telephone whose call number is shown in the dis-
play. Enter the relevant number and press "Pick-up call". If you have activated "Direct dial" you
will also need to press this key before pressing the first numeric key.
Request server message
You can check whether you have received a voice or text message.
Request time
If you want to update the time shown on your display.
Ringing tone off
Set the ring tone to off. Now you will only hear a single alert tone when you receive a call.
Second call y/n
If you deactivate the second call, no additional calls are signalled during an existing call.
Set contrast
Set the contrast according to your lighting conditions.
Set language
Set the language in which you want the display to appear. The languages available are English,
German, French and Italian.
Tone dial on
During a call, you can change the dialling method if you, for example, want to remote control an
answering machine.
Transfer call
You can answer an additional call during a call. You then forward this call to another subscriber
during a refer-back call. You can also connect the two other parties with one another during a
three-way conference.
Trap a call*
Register the call number of an undesired caller in the system.
