Disassembly and Reassembly
6-46-11 Feed Roller and Idle Roller
1. Before you disassemble the rollers, you should
remove :
♦ Side covers (See page 6-35)
2. Remove the four screws securing the dummy
cassette. Pull the dummy cassette towards you
and take it away from the main frame.

3. Remove the E-ring from the feed clutch on the
left side of the cassette frame, and take out the
feed clutch. See the figure 6.113.
4. Remove the two idle springs shown inside main
frame.
5. Remove the latch clutch and its spring.

6. To remove the feed roller, pull the bushing on
Dummy cassette
7. To remove the idle roller, push the bushing on
Idle spring
the left end of the feed roller slightly upwards
and turn it in the direction of arrow so that a
hole on the bushing aligns with the hole on the
main frame, then take it away from the roller
shaft. Now, you can take out the feed roller.
