6-42 Pick Up Roller
1. Before you disassemble the Pickup roller, you
should remove :
♦ Side covers (See page 6-10)
♦ Latch clutch (See page 6-13)
♦ Gear Z52/25 (See page 6-14)
♦ Solenoid (See page 6-13)
♦ Pickup clutch (See page 6-14)
2. Pull the bushing shaft slightly upwards and turn
it 45 degrees clockwise, so that a hole on the
bushing shaft aligns with the hole on the main
frame.

3. Bushings are attached on both end of the roller.
Push outwards on the bushing shown inside on
the left end of the roller.

Note: Check the roller for friction and
deformation. If the rubber is heavily worn
or stained, replace it with a new one. If the
roller is stained, wipe it off with soft cloth
dampened with water.
