Global Commands
There are two ways to verify that a user is in the enable-admin mode:
A:ALA-1# show users

Context
<GLOBAL>
Description
This command moves the context back one level of the command hierarchy. For example, if the cur-
rent level is the config router ospf context, the back command moves the cursor to the config router
context level.
clear
Syntax

Description
This command clears statistics for a specified entity or clears and resets the entity.
Parameters
cflowd — Clears cflowd.
cpm-filter — Clears IP filter entry IDs.
cron — Clears CRON history.
filter — Clears IP, MAC, and log filter counters.
lag — Clears LAG-related entities.
log — Closes and reinitializes the log specified by log-id.
mda — Reinitializes the specified MDA in a particular slot.
port — Clears port statistics.
qos — Clears QoS statistics.

• show users — Administrator can know which users are in this mode.
• Enter the enable-admin command again at the root prompt and an error message will be
returned.
