Installation and Operation Manual

5.2.1 - IDU Versions

Three IDU versions are available :
UFX-L : 2x2 / 4x2 Mbit/s
UFX-S : 2x2 / 4x2 / 8x2 / 16x2 Mbit/s
UFX-E : 2x2 / 4x2 / 8x2 / 16x2 Mbit/s and Ethernet 100 baseT
5.2.2 – Cable Interface Module Versions
Three cable interface module versions are available
UFC-L : QPSK - 2x2 / 4x2 Mbit/s
UFC-S : QPSK - 2x2 / 4x2/ 8x2 / 16x2 Mbit/s
UFC-H : QPSK - 2x2 / 4x2/ 8x2 / 16x2 Mbit/s and 16 QAM 8x2 / 16x2 Mbit/s
5.2.3 – ODU Versions
The available frequency bands for SAGEM-LINK F radios are 7 GHz, 8 GHz, 13 GHz, 15 GHz, 18
GHz, 23 GHz, 26 GHz and 38 GHz.
Each frequency band is divided in several sub bands. For each sub band, there is one Low Band ODU
and one high band ODU.
The complete ODU list is given in appendix 2.
The ODU minimum and maximum frequencies indicated in this list correspond to the diplexer useful
bandwidth.
The minimum and maximum channel frequencies for each ODU depend on the channel occupied
bandwidth (3.5, 7, 14 or 28 MHz). See figure 5.3.
