4.2 Installing Intel

Introduction
®
The Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility installs Windows
*.INF files to the target system. These files outline to the operating
system how to configure the Intel chipset components in order to
ensure the following features function properly:
• SATA Storage Support (SATA & SATA II)
• USB Support (1.1 & 2.0 & 3.0)
• Identification of Intel
4.2.1 Installing Intel
The utility pack is to be installed only for POSReady 7 & Windows
8.1 & Windows
OS installation. Please follow the steps below:

Connect the USB DVD-ROM device to PA-3222 and insert the
driver disk.
Enter the "Main Chip" folder where the Chipset driver is located

(depending on your OS platform).

Click Setup.exe file for driver installation.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Once the installation is completed, shut down the system and
restart PA-3222 for the changes to take effect.
