Safety feature!
This remedy action amounts to a reversal (disabling) of a safety
precaution installed earlier. Please do ensure that such disa-
bling is now permissible/authorized!
Disturbance
Circuit-breaker cannot be closed
and circuit-breaker not ready to
close.
Ready-to-close indicator shows:
Cause
1. Spring not charged
2. Undervoltage release not
excited
3. Mechanical reclosing lock-out
effective
4. Electrical closing interlock
effective
5. „OFF" locked off by cylinder
lock
(accessories)
6. „OFF" locked off by
padlocks
(accessories)
7. „Mechanical OFF" button
locked off
(accessories)
8. „EMERGENCY OFF" button
engaged in operating position
(accessories)
9. Lockout against closing with
cubicle door open effective
(accessories)
10. Mutual mechanical circuit-
breaker interlocks effective
(accessories)
11. Electronic overcurrent release
(trip unit) missing or incorrectly
installed
12. Shunt trip energized
13. Close coil energized
14. Racking handle withdrawn
Remedy
Charge spring
Energize undervoltage release
Rectify cause of overcurrent
tripping and press reset button
Shut off control voltage for

Unlock

Remove padlocks
Unlock the „Mechanical OFF"

Release „EMERGENCY OFF"
1)
button
by rotating it
Close cubicle door
Open second circuit-breaker or rack

into disconnected position
Fit electronic overcurrent release
properly
Deenergize shunt trip
Closing coil has to be deenergized
shortly for reclosing
Rack circuit-breaker into
disconnected, test or connect
position, unlatch crank and push
crank fully in
