Description of Modification
Initial Production
Corrects the following:
•
SC546 occurs during warm-up, when the machine is
turned on or brought out of energy saver mode and
the surrounding environment is relatively cold.

Corrects the following:
•
SC360 occurs just after the HDD is turned on. The
SC360 occurs when replaced with the A6915879 or
later version (A6915860 from March 2000) of the
HDD and the machine is turned on or brought out of
Energy Saver Mode.
•
A paper jam occurs between the printer and the
mailbox. The jam occurs during printing, when the
mailbox is assigned as the output device, after the
machine is brought out of Energy Saver Mode. This
occurs because the machine cannot identify the
mailbox.

Corrects the following:
•
SC990/542 occur simultaneously. When the Main
Power Switch is turned on or the machine recovers
from Energy Saver Mode, an SC990 may occur
(Software Performance error) before the machine
reaches Stand-by temperature. If this happens an
SC542 occurs (Fusing Temperature Warm-up error).
The correction turns off the Fusing Temperature
control whenever an SC990 occurs.
