4 Replacement Procedures

4.24 LCD cable

Removing the LCD cable
The following describes the procedure for removing the LCD cable. (See Figure 4-44 and 4-
45.)
1. Close the hinges and turn over the cover assembly and peel off the acetate tape
fixing the LCD cable. When closing the hinges, be careful not to push the upper
portion of them.
2. Turn over the cover assembly and open the display
3. Pass the LCD cable and the connector through the holes of the cover assembly and
LCD mask from the front to the back and remove the LCD cable on the back of the
LCD mask.
Installing the LCD cable
The following describes the procedure for installing the LCD cable. (See Figure 4-44 and 4-
45.)
1. Pass the LCD cable and the connector trough the holes of the LCD mask and cover
assembly from the back to the front.
2. Close the hinges and turn over the cover assembly and arrange the LCD cable on the
cover assembly.
3. Stick the acetate tape on the LCD cable.
