Powering Up the iBG3026

This chapter describes how to power up the iBG3026 router.

iBG3026 Power Prerequisites

iBG3026 accepts external power from AC, AC with PoE, DC with PoE
sources.
AC Power
This section describes how to connect AC power to an iBG3026.
AC Power
Use the power cable shipped with the unit. To connect power to the AC power
supply, connect the AC power connector to the power supply. Connect the
other end to a grounded power receptacle rated for the iBG3026.

Before connecting cables or performing maintenance on an iBG3026
router, always wear an ESD-preventative wrist strap. Connect the
banana plug to the ESD ground connector on the router chassis.
Make sure that the wrist strap makes contact with your skin
