ESF-10 (10-port Ethernet Switch Gigabit Module for SFP)
The Ethernet Switch Gigabit module for SFP provides ten Gigabit Ethernet
ports that connect directly to an Ethernet switching subsystem. Ten Small
Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) optical Gigabit Ethernet ports are available. The
packet processor communicates with the Ethernet switch on the main board
across Gigabit Ethernet links and it connects to each of the network modules.
SFP modules can be installed or removed without powering down the router.
The 10-port Ethernet Switch Gigabit card supports the following SFP modules
shown in the following table.
