Installing Compact Flash Memory Cards
Compact Flash memory cards are sensitive to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
Damage, which can occur when electronic cards or components are handled
improperly, resulting in complete or intermittent failures.
Removing a Compact Flash Memory Card
The Compact Flash slot is located on the iBG3026 board.
1.
Depress the Compact Flash memory card ejector button to eject the
module.
2.
Pull the Compact Flash memory card out of its slot.
Installing a Compact Flash Memory Card
1.
Align the Compact Flash memory card with the slot.
2.
Push the memory card into the slot making sure it is fully inserted.

To prevent damage to the iBG3026, do not remove a Compact Flash
memory card from the chassis while it is being accessed (when the
CF LED is blinking).
