Chapter3 describes how to install iBG3026 router for operation in a network facility.
Mounting the iBG3026
This section describes how to prepare the iBG3026 router for operation either
as a tabletop or a rack-mounted unit.
Desktop Installation
Place the iBG3026 router on a clean, flat, and stable surface with a minimum
available footprint of 19 by 17 inches (48.26 or 43.18 cm). Allow sufficient
room at the front, rear, and side of the unit for interface cabling, power cord
clearance, and adequate ventilation.
Apply the rubber feet (4 included) to the bottom of the chassis prior to placing
the unit on a surface or when stacking several units on a surface.

Router Installation
Do not place any items that weigh more than 4.5 kg on top of the
chassis, and do not stack routers on a desktop.
