Ink tank
Holds ink used for printing.

Heat shield
Prevents the temperature of the ink in the ink tank from rising when using a commercially available heater. Make
sure you clean the heat shield if any ink has adhered to it.

Slider
"Slider" on page 12

Lock lever
Raise the lock lever to unlock the slider for removal when replacing the chip unit. Always lower the lock lever into
the locked position after inserting the slider.

Chip unit check lamp
This lamp turns on when a message related to the chip unit is displayed.
On : Check the contents of the error on the control panel's screen and deal with the error.
Off : No error.

Stirring stick
This is only for the High Density Black ink tank. Stir the ink in the ink tank once a week.

Connects the power cable. Be sure to connect both cables.

Media loading lever
After loading media, lower the media loading lever to keep the media in place. Raise the lever to release the media
prior to removal.

Alert lamp
This lamp lights or flashes when an error occurs.
On/ : An error occurred. The type of error is indicated by how the lamp lights or flashes. Check the contents

Off : No error.
