Before removing the crankshaft assembly,
remove the timing chain from the crankshaft
sprocket.
The crankshaft assembly cannot be re-
moved if the timing chain is attached onto
the crankshaft sprocket.

Make sure the crankcase separating tool
is centered over the crankshaft.
To protect the end of the crankshaft, place
an appropriate sized socket between the
crankcase separating tool bolt and the
crankshaft.
Do not tap on the crankcase.
