CONTROL SYSTEM
1. Check:
• Shift operation
Incorrect
2. Adjust:
• Shift cable length
Adjusting steps:
(1) Disconnect the shift cable joint 1.
(2) Set the shift lever to the neutral
position.
(3) Set the shift control lever 2 to the
neutral position.
(4) Adjust the position of the shift cable
joint until its hole aligns with the set
pin on the shift control lever 2.
(5) Install the clip 3 and tighten the lock
nut 4.
CAUTION
The cable joint should be screwed in more
than 8 mm (0.31 in).
