Installing the boiler

6.12 Electrical connections

The electrical connections to the boiler must conform to
the locally applicable regulations and the relevant require-
ments of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA-70 or
Canadian Electrical Code CSA C22.1 Part 1.
The boiler must be grounded in accordance with the reg-
ulations of the relevant authorities or else the require-
ments of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA-70 or
Canadian Electrical Code CSA C22.1 Part 1.
The boiler is fully functional with the factory-installed pro-
gramming unit.
Observe the following points regarding the
electrical connections:
V Only carry out electrical work on the heat-
ing system if you are properly qualified for
the work in question. If you do not have the
proper qualifications, have the work done
by a licensed electrician.
V Observe the local regulations.
6.12.1 Connecting the main power supply
Establish a permanent connection to the main power sup-
ply in accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
V Fit a power switch near to the boiler.
