Disconnect the boiler and its gas isolating valve form the
gas supply pipe system if that system is subjected to
pressure tests in which the testing pressure exceeds
½ psi.
If the gas supply piping system is subjected to pressure
tests in which the testing pressure is ½ psi or less, it is
sufficient to isolate the boiler from the gas supply piping
system by closing the relevant isolating valve.
V Test the boiler and gas supply connections for leaks
before commissioning (
Use only sealant that is resistant to corrosion by LPG for
the pipe connections. The sealant must be applied spar-
ingly to the external thread of the pipe connections.

Installing the boiler

6.11.2 Installation at high altitudes

The boiler is designed for installation at altitudes below
2000 feet above sea level. If it is to be installed at altitudes
higher than 2000 feet it can be adjusted accordingly.
Refer to sections 7.11 to 7.14 for CO
Contact Buderus if the installation site is at a
high altitude. The boiler must only be adjust-
ed as specified in the relevant technical doc-
umentation and using the adjusting
procedure approved by Buderus.
