7. Mac OS X Configuration
• Depending on the version of the Mac OS X operating system, this function may not be available.
Draw Border
Use this function to specify whether or not to draw a page border on each page.
The following shows where you can select this function.
[Border:] is displayed on [Layout] in the print dialog box.
Duplex Printing
Use this function to select duplex printing.
The following shows where you can select this function.
Check the [Two-Sided] check box in the print dialog box.
The following functions are selectable under Mac OS X 10.3 or higher (for Mac OS X 10.2, see Note
below). The following items may vary depending on the operating system you are using.
Off
Disables Duplex Printing.
Long-edge binding
Prints output so that you can open it to the long edge when bound along the long edge.
Short-edge binding
Prints output so that you can open it to the short edge when bound along the short edge.
• If you are using a Mac OS X 10.2, click to select the button that means "Flip on Long Edge" or "Flip
on Short Edge".
Collate
Use this function to enable collation. With this feature, the machine can efficiently print collated sets of
multiple-page documents.
The following shows where you can select this function.
Check the [Collated] check box in the print dialog box.
