INSTALLING THE ENGINE

1. Install:
Rear engine mounting bolts "1"
G
TIP
Lubricate the rear engine mounting bolt threads
with engine oil.

2. Install:
Right front engine mounting bolt "2"
G
Left front engine mounting bolts "3"
G
TIP
Do not fully tighten the bolts.
3. Tighten:
Self-locking nut "4"
G
Self-locking nut
55 Nm (5.5 m·kgf, 40 ft·lbf)
TIP
First tighten the lower self-locking nut.

ENGINE REMOVAL
4. Tighten:
Left front engine mounting bolts "5"
G
Left front mounting bolt
55 Nm (5.5 m·kgf, 40 ft·lbf)
5. Tighten:
Right front engine mounting bolt "6"
G
Right front engine mounting bolt
55 Nm (5.5 m·kgf, 40 ft·lbf)
6. Install:
Left footrest bracket assembly "7"
G
Footrest assembly bolt
30 Nm (3.0 m·kgf, 22 ft·lbf)
