. ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
x A floor jack or other adjustable support is required to support and maneuver the engine. Be
careful not to damage the motorcycle body, cables and wires during engine removal.
x Use shop towels to protect the motorcycle body during engine removal.
x Parts requiring engine removal for servicing:
Crankcase
Crankshaft
TORQUE VALUES
Engine mounting bolt
Rear shock absorber lower mount bolt 2.4 3.0kg-m
Engine hanger bracket bolt
