Changing Knuckle Case Oil
1. Park the vehicle on a firm, flat and level surface.
2. Remove the tire.
3. To drain the used oil, remove the drain and filling plugs at the
L.H. knuckle case and drain the oil completely into the oil pan.
4. After draining, reinstall the drain plug (1).
5. Fill the new oil up to the filling port level. Refer to
"LUBRICANTS, FUEL AND COOLANT". (See page G-8.).
6. After filling, reinstall the filling plug (2).
7. Use the same procedure to change the RH knuckle case oil.

Replacing Hydraulic Tank Oil Filter
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
• Be sure to stop the engine before changing the oil filter
cartridge.
• Allow engine to cool down sufficiently, oil can be hot and
may cause burns.
1. Park the vehicle on a firm, flat and level surface.
2. Tilt the seat.
3. Remove the oil filter. (Take care of the oil that spills from filter.)
4. Put a film of clean KUBOTA SUPER UDT OIL on the rubber seal
of the new filter.
5. Quickly tighten the filter until it contacts the mounting surface,
then, with a filter wrench, tighten it an additional 1 turn only.
6. After running the engine for a few minutes, stop the engine and
check the oil level, add oil to the prescribed level.
7. Make sure that the hydraulic tank oil does not leak past the seal
on the filter.
IMPORTANT
• Receive the spilt oil with rags or trays.
Be careful not to spill oil.
If you should spill oil, wipe it off at once.
• To prevent serious damage to the hydraulic line, use only a
KUBOTA genuine filter.
