(2) Separating Rear Axle

Wiring Harness from Engine
1. Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor connector (3).
2. Disconnect the wiring connector from alternator (1).
3. Disconnect the wiring connector from starter motor (2).

Radiator Hoses and Ground Cable
1. Disconnect the radiator hoses (1), (2) from engine.
2. Disconnect the ground cable (3).
(1) Radiator Upper Hose
(2) Radiator Lower Hose
Fuel Hose Line
1. Disconnect the fuel hose (1) and return hose (2).
(1) Fuel Hose
Rear Axle Bracket
1. Remove the boot band (4) on both sides.
2. Place the stand under the both side of frame.
3. Remove the leaf spring mounting bolt (3) and flange nut, and
remove the rear axle bracket assembly (5) by use the axle
support (6).
(When reassembling)
• Align the master spline of propeller shaft and rear axle shaft.
• Replace the boot band (4) with new one.
• Apply anti-fretting grease (NISSEKI PYRONOC UNIVERSAL
N6C or its equivalents) to spline of rear axle shaft.
