6. PARKING BRAKE

(1) Parking Brake Lever

The parking brake is mechanical type which is connected to the brake cam lever (5) by the parking brake cables
(4). This parking brake is a mechanism that same brake discs as travelling brake is operated.
The parking brake consists basically of the following:
Brake cam lever, parking brake lever (1), mechanical equalizer (3) and right and left cables, etc.
When pulling the parking brake lever, and the rear wheel brakes are applied and the rear axle comes to a halt.
The mechanical equalizer (3) is installed to adjust the right-to-left balance of mechanical force and to achieve an equal
force.
