(4) Separating Engine

[3] DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING

(1) External Components

Separate the Transmission and Engine One Piece Assembly
1. Remove the engine mounting screw and starter motor (1)
mounting screws.
2. Disconnect the oil cooler hoses (2).
3. Disconnect the accelerator wire (3).
4. Separate the engine from transmission assembly.
(When reassembling)
• Apply liquid gasket (Three Bond 1215E, Locktite 5699 or
equivalents) to joint face of engine rear-end plate and the
transmission case.
• Apply anti-fretting grease (NISSEKI PYRONOC UNIVERSAL
N6C or its equivalents) to splines of engine output shaft.
Tightening torque Engine mounting screw
(1) Starter Motor
(2) Oil Cooler Hose
External Components
1. Remove the oil filter cartridge (3).
2. Remove the alternator (2) and belt (1).
3. Remove the engine stop solenoid (4).
4. Remove the hydraulic pump (5).
