(3) Front Differential Case
Front Differential Assembly
1. Place the stand under the frame.
2. Remove the front wheel.
3. Remove the joint guard (5).
4. Loosen the lower arm mounting bolt and nut (3).
5. Remove the cotter pin, and remove the slotted nut (7) for tie-rod
end (6).
6. Remove the ball joint (5) mounting bolt and nuts.
7. Remove the cotter pin, and remove the slotted nut (2) for
knuckle case mounting bolt (9).
8. Remove the knuckle case mounting bolt (9) and front axle
slotted nut (10).
9. Separate the knuckle case assembly (12) from lower arm (8)
and strut (1).
10. Remove the drive shaft assembly (11) from front differential
case (16).
11. Remove the differential side cover (13).
12. Disconnect the propeller shaft (14) from pinion shaft.
13. Remove the differential protector (16).
14. Remove the front differential assembly (17).

(2) Slotted Nut (for Knuckle Case
Mounting Bolt)
(3) Lower Arm Mounting Bolt and Nut
(4) Joint Guard
(5) Ball Joint
(6) Tie-Rod End
(7) Slotted Nut (for Tie-Rod End)
