DIC slider

Use together with the polarizer and analyzer sliders for episcopic DIC microscopy.

3.13.1 Attaching (removing) the DIC slider

Use a hexagonal screwdriver to loosen the DIC slider limit screw on the revolving
nosepiece.
Insert the DIC slider into the slot on the revolving nosepiece and screw in the DIC slider limit
screw.
When removing the DIC slider from the revolving nosepiece, first fully loosen the DIC slider
limit screw using a hexagonal screwdriver, and then pull out the slider.
