Assemble each part of the microscope referring to the diagram on the next page.
• Before assembling the microscope, be sure to read the
the beginning of this instruction manual and follow the instructions written therein.
• To avoid electrical shocks and fire, turn off the power switch (flip it to the " " side) before
assembling the microscope.
• The main body of this instrument weighs about 30 kg.
• To install this instrument on a desk or a table, at least two people are required. Handle the
instrument carefully and do not drop it.
• The equipment can injure the human body or may be damaged when dropped.
• Take care not to pinch your hands or fingers during assembly.
• Scratches and fingerprints on the lenses will adversely affect the image. Take care not to get
them on the lenses. If lenses and the like are contaminated, e.g., with fingerprints, clean them
according to the description in "6.3 Cleaning this equipment."
• The microscope is a precision optical instrument. Take care when handling them and avoid
strong shocks. (Especially on the objectives since they can be adversely affected even by a
weak shock.)

To assemble this instrument, the following tools are required. (These tools are not supplied
with the microscope.)
• Hexagonal wrench or screwdriver
• Phillips screwdriver × 1
