Attach the dark-field/bright-field/fluorescent selection lever to the optical path selection
block (for bright-field microscopy), which is installed inside the arm, and pull the lever to
the near side.
5.
Remove the dark-field/bright-field/fluorescent selection lever and attach it to the
compensation filter.
6.
Attach the compensation filter to the optical path selection block (for bright-field
microscopy) and secure them together with the set-screw.

Remove the dark-field/bright-field/fluorescent selection lever again and retain the lid at
its original position.
8.
Mount the dark-field/bright-field/fluorescent selection lever.
Attaching the fiber adapter
Loosen the clamp screw on the fiber adapter by using the hexagonal screwdriver. And then,
attach the HG fiber adapter onto the mount part for the episcopic lamphouse. Push in the
adapter to the limit position, and then tighten the clamp screw to fix it.
Next, insert the light guide fiber tip through the hole of the fiber adapter, and then tighten the
clamp screw to fix it by using the hexagonal screwdriver. At last, connect the light guide
fiber to the light source.
