2. If the meter light fails to come on:
1. Bulb and bulb socket
S Check the bulb and bulb socket for continu-
ity.
2. Voltage
S Connect the pocket tester (20 V) to the bulb
socket coupler.
Tester (+) lead ! Blue terminal
Tester (–) lead ! Black terminal
S Turn the main switch to "ON".
S Turn the light switch to "ON" or "PO".
S Check the voltage (12 V) of the "blue" lead
on the bulb socket connector.
The circuit is not faulty.

3. If the taillight fails to come on:
1. Bulb and bulb socket
S Check the bulb and bulb socket for continu-
ity.
2. Voltage
S Connect the pocket tester (DC 20 V) to the
bulb socket connector.
Tester (+) lead ! Blue terminal
Tester (–) lead ! Black terminal

Replace the bulb and/or bulb socket.
OUT OF SPECIFICATION
The wiring circuit from the main switch to the
bulb socket connector is faulty, repair it.

Replace the bulb and/or bulb socket.
