Step 5.
Add a another new IP/MAC rule
Add another IP/MAC rule to allow an IP address
range to pass through DFL-1500. This rule type is
useful for local PC using DHCP feature specially.
Suppose DHCP IP range of LAN1 interface is
192.168.40.100 to 192.168.40.119.
Check Activate this rule checkbox. Enter
Rule name as LAN1_DHCP. Select Allow Range
in the Rule Type field, and enter the Start IP as

192.168.40.100
192.168.40.119. Click Apply to store this
setting.

The type of IP/MAC "Binding" is combined IP address with
MAC address together to decide packet is passed or blocked
by the DFL-1500.
Another type of IP/MAC "Allow range" depends on the IP
range to permit whether packets can pass or not. For this
type, please refer Table 11-4 description.
