8.6 control Panel Holders
8.6.1 Height Adjustable control Panel Holder
Another option is a special control panel holder that can
be mounted on the B500 power wheelchair, allowing the
control panel to be moved downwards. To make use of
this option, loosen the attachment screw (see fig. 34) and
move the control panel to the desired height. Firmly
retighten the attachment screw.

8.6.2 Swing-away control Panel Holder
To allow the user to drive the power wheelchair closer to
an object or under the edge of a table, the control panel
can be swung to the side with a special control panel
holder (see fig. 35).
The control panel holder can be turned up to the armrest:
r Apply a little bit of pressure to press the control panel
holder to the side and release the pivot element.
r Swing the control panel holder to the side.
r When bringing the control panel holder back to its
original position, the pivot element automatically locks
into place.
