7.2 Getting Into and Out of the Power
Wheelchair
The modular design of the power wheelchair and the
ease with which you can remove the side panels and
footrests make it easy to get into and out of the wheel-
chair from the side or from the front.
Getting into and out of the wheelchair can be done by
the user individually in a way that suits him or her best.

Risk of injury if the power wheelchair starts
rolling!
When getting into or out of the power wheel-
chair, the wheelchair controls must always be
switched off.
ATTEnTIOn !
Risk of breaking the footplates and armrests
as a result of overloading them!
The user must not apply his or her entire body
weight to the footrests and armrests for sup-
port when getting into or out of the wheelchair.
Do not use the footplates when getting into or
out of the wheelchair.
