6.111 Mixed Code & Offset
There will nearly always be an offset due to the fact that there are a different number of frames in
each minute. The normal starting point is 01:00:00:00, at this point there is an offset of 108 frames
or 3 seconds and 18 frames.

6.112 Mixed Code Passing through Zero/Midnight.

If there are a different number of frames in each minute then it follows that there are a different
number of frames in each day. This causes a problem when passing through midnight as at this
point the frame count is reset to zero changing any current offset.
To overcome this problem add an identical time to both the master and slave offsets. This will
change both the master and slave's effective positions and remove the problem.

6.20 Offset and Record In

Offset and Record In interact, the relationship between machines may be defined as offset or sync
points. When defining the record in point on a machine you are also defining the sync point. The
following three Setup Variables effect the action when a new record in point is defined.

When disabled setting the record in point on a record enabled machine will set the master record
in point and not change the offset.

When set to Editor setting the master record in point will zero the master offset.
