3.03 TRIM+ and TRIM-
The Trim+ and Trim- keys are used as follows:-
1) Enter the number to Add/Subtract from a store using the numeric keypad.
2) Hit the TRIM+ / TRIM- key to illuminate the LED.
3) While the TRIM+ / TRIM- LED is illuminated hit any memory key
e.g. to move the record in point 5 frames earlier the following key sequence should be used:-
[5] [Trim -] [Record In]
The keyboard (Lower Right) display should be:-

3.04 RECALL-RECALL

The key combination Recall-Recall swaps the current and last keyboard entry.

3.05 Locate

The locate key will normally locate to the current keyboard display with or without pre-roll as determined
by the shift key and Menu 32.
Set-Up | Root | Unit | Generic | Menu 32:- Locate With Pre-Roll
Note: When Auto or Rehearse are enabled
[Locate] will always locate to pre-roll before the in-point
[Shift] followed by [Locate] will always locate to the in point

3.06 INSTANT REPLAY

With the advent on digital systems it is often not possible to listen to the audio in reverse. A quick
method of going back a few seconds is therefor required. INSTANT REPLAY is provided for this
purpose.
Every time the INSTANT REPLAY key is depressed the system will locate back by a pre-defined
number of seconds and enter play. for example if 10 seconds is stored in the INSTANT REPLAY
memory the first depression will locate back 10 seconds, two depressions 20 seconds, three
depressions 30 seconds .....

3.07 AGAIN

The Again key is used to locate that last point at which the play key was depressed. There are two
levels of again, a second depression will locate the previous point at which the play key was depressed.
If Auto Record or Rehearse are active then Again will Redo the current edit.

3.08 MARK

The MARK key is used to capture the current timecode value, this is much quicker than typing in a
value and may be used in the same way. The Mark store is 64 entries long and any entry may be
accessed using the [ID <<] and [ID >>] keys.
The mark key operation is modified in the following ways
Store Followed by Mark = Mark Sync (See Offset)
Recall Followed by Mark = Find specified Mark point 0..63
Shift Followed by Mark = Reset Mark Pointers and capture position as MARK01
Note: When the current machine is a slave then the current Master timecode is captured.
3.09 RECORD ENABLE GROUP
The Record Enable is used to specify which machines will accept a RECORD or UN-RECORD
command. This is particularly important when Group record commands are issued.
To specify the record enabled machines, hold down the RECORD key and DEPRESS the MCN
selection keys. To view the current Record Enabled Machines depress and hold down the RECORD
key.
The properties of record enabled machines are as follows:-
1) A RECORD or UN-RECORD command sent to all machines that are record enabled.
