5.13 Auto Input Monitor :- Macro 109
This macro key will directly switch any channel in record ready between input and replay monitor.
The LED will illuminate when input monitor is selected.

5.14 Display Generator : Macro 118

The Generator output will normally follow the selected master, using this macro key allows you to
select the generator directly and select it as a master. When selected as a master the motion control
switches will directly control the generator. We use this to test a single machine as a slave, it may
be used when you wish to work with non-linear systems only.
5,15 Step Forward and Reverse : Macros 126 & 127
These keys will increment or decrement the current machine position, the key depressions are
counted so that to move forward 5 frames hit Step + five times.
5.16 *2, *4, *6 Wind :- Macro's 134,135,136
The fast forward (>>) and rewind (<<) switches will normally wind at the maximum laced speed,
when any of these keys are active the wind speed is reduced to 2, 4, or 6 times play speed.
User programmable wind speed:-
The *4 and *6 macro keys may also be used as user programmable wind speed keys. Shift
followed by *4 or *6 will enable the selected speed, entering a numeric value followed by Store
followed by the *4 or *6 key will change the selected speed.
Calculating the speed:-
1-50 = speed in frames per second (Pal) 1.2 frames per second (NTSC)
25 = Play speed, 12 = 0.5* Play speed, 50 = 2* Play Speed.
51= *3, 53= *4, 53= *5, 54= *6, 55= *7, 56= *8, 57= *9, 58= *7.0..
5.17 Red light :- Macro 144
The red light output will be active whenever the system is in record or during the pre-roll of auto-
record, the red light switch will activate the output whenever it's LED is illuminated.

5.18 One Key Post Sync :- Macro 150

Position Master so that the Timecode Slate is visible, enter the timecode number displayed, hit this
key and the offset is calculated for machine 'D', the current video position is set as Record In, and
a Chase-On command is sent to Machine 'D'.
5.19 Loop:- Macro 66
Allows current machine to loop between in and out points, preroll will depend on the setting of Root
| Unit | Generic | Menu 28 :- Locate with Pre-Roll. Use [Shift] followed by [Loop] (Led Flash) to
repeat loops. When [Loop] is enabled locate will always locate the in point or pre-roll before the in-
point dependant on Menu 28.
