Add Power Link speakers and up to
two BeoLab 2 subwoofers to your
television and you have a surround
sound system.
A surround sound setup fits easily
into your living room. Let the picture
determine your ideal listening and
viewing position. You get the best
sound experience in the area created
by the speakers.

cinema, refer to the chapter
'Surround sound and Home cinema'
on page 10 in the Guide.
Loudspeaker setup – surround sound
Select your speaker types
Switch on the television in TV or Home
cinema mode as described in the Guide
before you adjust speaker settings.
To register the speaker types ...
> Press TV to switch on the television.
> Press MENU to bring up the TV SETUP menu
and press
to highlight OPTIONS.
> Press GO to bring up the OPTIONS menu and
press
to highlight SOUND.
> Press GO to bring up the SOUND SETUP menu
and press
to highlight SPEAKER TYPE.
> Press GO to bring up the SPEAKER TYPE menu.
The option CENTRE1 – for a speaker connected
to the CENTRE1 socket – is highlighted.
> Select your centre speaker or speakers by
pressing
or .
> Press
to highlight CONFIG. This allows you to
select a CENTRE configuration as a single
speaker or a pair. Depending on which centre
speaker or speakers you select, CONFIG may be
greyed out and inaccessible.
> Press
to move on to the next speaker and
press
or
to reveal your speaker type. As you
highlight each speaker, a sound is produced by
the speaker. Check that the speaker name
highlighted in the menu matches the name of
the speaker making the sound.
> Press GO to store or EXIT to leave the menu
without storing.
